Keep PRAXIS beside your project.
Set it up once on your computer. Review source first, then choose deeper checks when you need them.
No Docker needed for the first reviewStart Project Review
Checking releaseInstall Node.js 22 or later, then close and reopen your terminal. No separate Git or Python installation is needed.
The first run downloads application dependencies and a private Python runtime, then builds the interface. Allow several minutes. Keep the terminal open while using PRAXIS; Ctrl+C stops its services.
Use a source checkout while the release is pending
Download the PRAXIS source ZIP from GitHub and extract it. Open Terminal or PowerShell in the extracted PRAXIS directory, then run the launcher below. No Git installation is needed.
node src/cli.js reviewUse review --check to inspect readiness without changing files, or review --setup-only to install without starting services. The existing .\start.ps1 developer launcher remains available.
Your first review
- Bring your project. Select a local path, GitHub repository URL or folder upload in the local app.
- Start with a source review. Describe what the project should do. The default review needs no Docker or model key and executes no project commands. Copy the resulting brief to your coding agent.
- Go deeper when needed. Add a model under a spending limit or explicitly authorize trusted local or Docker checks. Review a fix plan before any edit.
This is a local web application, not a signed desktop installer. Node.js is still a prerequisite. The hosted browser trial inspects source only and does not run your project.
